Tara Chelsea Boot (Women)

These are likely my favorite flat boots that I own. For context, I’m the girl who wears boots almost daily, and I have prolly 100 pairs just of this type of boot, across many different designers and price points, so I’ve done the leg work ha. If I had to pick the perfect general pair, using measurements like versatility, look, comfort, durability/quality etc, I think this might be the pair. They can truly go with anything, unlike some of my more outrageous combat boots, they’re of great quality, and they’re insanely comfortable, etc. For additional context here, I’m a true 8, with quite slim feet and way too high of an arch, meaning that a great many leather boots are seriously uncomfortable for me, even if I size up. Not these though, and the sole is crazy comfy too! I also love that the ankle is so slim, yet at the same time, they’re super easy to get into. if you’re looking for the perfect all around black boot, you should 100% get these. (And if you have a high arch, especially, you need these in your life...no need to even size up for that) They truly rival boots at 5x the price point.

I bought these in the White color and they are amazing. The white is much more of a cream than a bright white. I was surprised when I saw this but I actually prefer the creamier color as it feels more natural. I love the style and how versatile they will be. The upper part is narrow and tall enough to go under slim fit jeans or great with a more cropped pant. I don't have the slimmest calves and these are just fine on me. My only issue I had was with the sizing. My normal sizing in most shoes is 39/ 8.5. I own 2 other pairs of Vagabond shoes. One is a chunkier Chelsea boot size 38 and the other a more slim-fit cropped boot in size 39. Both fit great and are comfortable. Not knowing how these would fit I ordered both size 38 and 39. The 38 was so tight and narrow I couldn't even get my foot in. The 39 fit but feels more narrow than other boots. Just to be sure, I ordered a size 40 and although this fit more comfortably my heel would lift up when I walked and I didn't want the bigger size with this extra clunky boot. So I am keeping the 39 and believe it will start to stretch the more I wear it. That's what my other boots have done. I can't wait to throw this boot on. It's great for these days where we are mostly at home but still want to feel stylish but not too overdressed when going out.

I loved the idea of this shoe. I was hesitant to buy because I didn’t love the high ankle. The shoe was extremely comfortable and well made and love the thick sole! I got my usual euro size 39 (8 1/2) and it was just a bit snug but it did fit in the length. I’m sure with wear the leather would have stretched. If the ankle was a bit shorter and they weren’t so snug I would have kept them for sure!
