Shoulders too thight
Just like the other short version of the Ralf Lauren coat way to tight in the shoulders area no way to layer up. Returning and getting a diffret brand . Im 5'6 and 130 lb and got size 4 .

Odd Fit
I am 5’10” and 130lbs typically I’m a size 4-6 after reading reviews I decided to get the 8. It’s very tight in the arm pits when you do the weird thing “with the arms a crossed in front of the body” that we all do. Ordered a 10 before returning the 8 and decided to keep the 8 because I was swimming in the 10. It’s a very gorgeous dupe coat and much more affordable than the Maxx Mara coat that retails for $3800 I believe. I do love it for fall, I just hope I never split the arm seams !! Also, the whip stitching was pulled out in some areas on the size 10 so that’s another reason I didn’t keep the size 10.

Beautiful coat, fabulous quality. It’s a lot of coat, though, so wouldn’t recommend for shorter folks. I’m usually an 8 and ordered a 10 and it fits perfectly with a sweater underneath.

Color is lovely but the fabric feels thin, looks like a knockoff, and the whipstitching just adds to the cheapness of the look. Sleeves feel a little snug. Definitely not a keeper.

Size up but not
Went with a 12 based on reviews frantically saying size up. 12 was way too large. I am usually a size 8-10. The bottom did not cinch at the waist at all. I am 5'10 and 160, so I will for sure be returning for an 8 or 10. The coat is quite long which is nice. Not sure why everyone was saying it runs extremely small, don't find that to be true at all really.
