Slim, stylish, comfy
I went to Nordstrom to try a bunch of On sneakers and this was my favorite. All black and slim shape make these stylish. I have a medium to wide feet, between 6.5 and 7 (usually take 7)—for this one I had to go with 7.5. The salesperson explained that the waterproof material tends to give less flexibility so it’s good to go up a size. I like the structured form of these shoes bc I am currently pregnant and need to be able to slip on and off without bending. These allow me to do that. My fav part is that I don’t need to tie the laces!! It does come with laces though if you want to use them.

Too stiff
I loved this shoe before I bought it. This shoe is stiff and uncomfortable. The arch doesn’t fit in the right spot. The right shoe has create a blister on my toe. The tongue and heel are unforgiving leaving bruises on my ankles.

Shoe high sides hit ankle = blisters
Love the shoe. Problem is the product is poorly designed for a universal fit, meaning if you happen to be of Asian, Italian or Chinese ancestry and have a lower ankle bone, this shoe will hit you and be uncomfortable. I'm giving it a low score because when I contacted On Cloud, their website doesn't have a way to make comments about the shoe. The chat person said to ask for a warranty claim, so I did, and the response was to return it to the store and they gave a 20% discount on the shoe. Since I spent $170 on this shoe, I shouldn't have to buy a $50 running insert to make this fit. This problem has been going on for some time, since shoes started to be made in Brazil and other South American countries in the 2000's and now it's all made in China. Shoe is great, but it shouldn't require a $50 Happy Feet insert. I actually don't like where the arch fits, so I'm getting custom inserts made at the podiatrists. I may return the shoe just because I think a company that doesn't take customer feedback seriously, probably shouldn't be in business.

def order half-size up
I Lovelovelove my cloud 5 waterproof sneakers… but the sole started to separate from the actual shoe, and after less than 6 months…. Soooo disappointing for an almost $200 pair of sneakers, w a great reputation…
The thing is though, that I really loved them… so i figured I’d try the newer version, the Cloud 6… I ordered them in the same size and was extremely disappointed when they showed up on my door step (I was literally counting the days lol) and they felt much more narrow, much harder to get on, much stiffer… the length of the shoe is the same but they are verrrry tight around the body of the shoe, where the laces are… and my feet are normal width…
So, I’m going to order them a half size up, and hope they work out. Otherwise i might just try the cloud 5’s again, and hope that the pair I had was just a “dud”….

Cute but tight
These shoes are the same high quality of my previous On Clouds. The mauve/zinc makes a fashion statement that I appreciate. Sadly they are much too tight in my normal size 10, which is already a half size up from the 9.5 I wear in dress shoes. I like them enough that I’m reordering in size 10.5. I wish On would get it together with more consistent sizing.

Nice Updates to an Already Great Sneaker
I've been very happy with the previous versions of On's waterproof sneakers, but the Cloud 6 version is even better. The shoe has more flexibility and softness than the previous versions. Also, the inside is smoother and easier to slide your foot into. Strangely, the photos of the shoes on Nordstrom's website are missing some details. First, as with previous versions, the right shoe has the signature On red tab near the back. Also, the shoe has a shiny, light-catching accent border around the matte areas at the toe end of the shoe. It adds some nice visual interest and would have made me buy sooner if it were shown in the product photos.
