low quality, broke after approximately 10 wears
I am surprised by the terrible quality of these shoes.
The positives:
The 11 is generously sized. I teeter between 11 and 12 and this fit perfectly.
Very comfortable.
The negatives:
The color is much lighter than in the image. I personally think a dark leather looks more lux so that was a little bit disappointing.
The shoe is constructed by stitching together rows of leather rather than having the leather woven together as a unit. Looking back at the images, I can understand this but I didn't realize it when I purchased. This means that a single line of top stitching is holding the shoe together. As a result the area at the big toe has a hole in each shoe. This is after wearing them perhaps 10 times walking around my city.
The strap on one of the shoes broke, just ripped in half while I was walking.
Lands End is unlikely to accept a return (third party) because I wore them. I strongly caution against purchasing these low quality shoes.
