Velvet Tie Wrap Surplice Midi Dress

Super high quality, this dress impressed me. It's a true wrap dress in super soft stretch velvet. The stars and constellations are lovely and vivid, I nearly thought they were embroidered (though I think they're just very well done puffy paint printed). The dress does not look cheap, however I did need to snip several stray threads. Worth it, though. Used the size chart for how I wanted it to fit. Could have sized down a bit, but the style is forgiving and I am very comfortable in it. Should coordinate well with my silver platform sandals and a gorgeous silver velvet me-made art deco opera coat!

So I have a problem. And that problem is that I own this in three colors now! It's so versatile and so soft. The velvet has weight to it without being too heavy. I can wear this is a wrap dress or a duster, and I feel like a movie star! I'm in-between a size M and L due to my bust, and I could size down, but I like the security of sizing up, as the button system on this makes me nervous. I prefer there being zero tugging on the buttons, and I add a more structured stretch belt (not the one it comes with) for extra security. I'm just 4'11", and this dress hits right at my ankle/top of my shoe-- it's perfect!
