Tyldie Kitten Heel Bootie

This is a beautiful bootie but there are two things that caused me to return the pair. First, the bootie runs narrow compared to all my Cole Hahn pumps. And second, the inside of the zipper is not finished properly. It rubs all the way up and down my ankle and calf.

Most of the shoes in my closet are from Cole Haan, as I count on the brand's quality and size consistency. I ordered this bootie in the black leather option in my usual size 9.5B. This is a great style with a walkable and comfortable kitten heel and a slight snip toe for a flattering look with so many outfits. The fit is true to size. I question the quality of the leather chosen for the Anniversary Sale promotional products. Last year's Cole Haan bootie had stiff, uncomfortable leather. This year's bootie has softer leather but upon trying the bootie on, the leather immediately creased at the toe area on one shoe. Not sure how the shoes woud look after a few wears.

This was the one I was going to buy…the chocolate color is a deep rich brown and very neutral. The heel is perfect if you want a low kitten heel and it’s very comfortable. The toe comes to a very slight square point so the effect is elongating. Great value for the price.

These boots are nice. They are the most comfortable of all similar brands I tried. I'm over 65 and don't wear heels much anymore, but I can walk easily in these--they're very sturdy. Nice leather--not crazy stiff. They fit true to size. I am 9.5 in closed-toed shoes, and 9 in flip-flops and sandals. The 9.5 fits me fine.
