Semisheer Silk Blend Parachute Maxi Skirt

This is a beautiful skirt that runs one size large. The issue for me is that while it’s the perfect material and weight for an Arizona summer, it’s not semi sheer but extremely sheer. This means I would need to wear some sort of a slip with it, which defeats the whole purpose of wanting to use it in the summer. I did purchase the white so maybe the blue option would be better as far as that goes, but the white is pretty see-through.

Love this skirt- was perfect for vacation this summer with record setting heat- and even though it’s silk it doesn’t cling to you like satin-y silk, it is very breezy and light. I disagree with another reviewer that it is totally sheer. I would say this around the same sheerness as a lightweight linen. Probably my favorite recent purchase.

I love the unusual cut of this skirt. I took the smaller of my two sizes, and it still sits just below the natural waist. I have the skirts in black and love it with a form-fitting black tee and a chunky belt at the waist. I'll wear this all summer long!
