Impossible to lock

The “T” lock mechanism is incredibly finicky. It’s impossible to secure one handed when on the run. The leather is so soft and supple that it requires two hands to assemble the mechanism to turn the teensy lock. This beautiful puddle of gorgeous leather is luxurious, but I do not enjoy having that tiny bit of extra worry about my bag and items inside being unsecured, or having to spend extra time fiddling with a ridiculous lock.

Conflicted about this bag

While the bag is beautiful, it is not practical. It is difficult to get in and out of. My biggest issue is with Toteme itself. I owned this bag for 6 months and used it maybe 5 times. It is clearly in excellent condition. The rivet where the handle is attached broke. I contacted Toteme and they said I was out of luck. They do not stand behind their products. I even asked if they could recommend where I could get it repaired. Nope. Out of luck again.
