Coastal Tide Sleeveless Dress

Loved, loved this dress - the color is stunning and the overall design is beautiful. Unfortunately, the fit just didn't work for me. I'm 5'2' and 135 lbs, and while the chest and the skirt fit nicely, the bodice was too large, especially under the arms. There was a noticeable gap where my bra was visible, which made it unwearable without alterations. So sad to return it because everything else about it was perfect!

The colors offered were beautiful and the dress was nicely flowy overall. The dress runs huge, I ordered down and should have ordered down even further. Unfortunately, the material is super wrinkly, and only got more so when I tried sitting down in it. It made me look disheveled, which is not what you want for a dress that was this expensive. It would be too much work trying to maintain this dress and keep it looking good. Sort of defeats the purpose of a throw-on-and-go summer dress. Oh well!

I bought this kind of cherry red dress back in April/May for my niece’s college graduation from Wisconsin-Madison (go badgers!). Anyhow, I just love it. I don’t know what I wore before getting this dress!! So, last week, I decided I loved it so much, I logged into Nordstrom to see if it came in any other colors. And it did! So, I bought it in black (not on sale), in white (not really on sale) and a cool green color (on sale!). I’m not a big electric blue fan. I did have a sweater in this color back in the late 80’s, so maybe that’s why! Anyway, bought in every color available except that blue. Now, I’ll have more things to wear and give everyone around me a break from seeing the pretty red one everywhere I go!
