Celestial Layered Necklace

This is a very pretty piece of jewelry and I was very excited to receive it. The charm, a star, on the middle strand was attached far off center. The jump ring of the charm is not large enough to move it over the benzel settings so it is impossible to center it. I looked closely to see if it was a DYI fix and it isn't something easily fixed. The necklace is tossed in a satin bag and was a tangled mess. Really, 3 strands loose in a bag and someone expected it to be wearable? I took a lot of time getting it straight, then saw the off center setting on the charm.

Bought this for my niece for Christmas. It’s already broken. She’s not a small child; she’s a young adult who knows how to care for her jewelry. I know it’s costume jewelry, but really did not expect it to last less than a month. Beyond disappointed.
