The Kate Skinny Cargo Pant

I really like the fit on these pants (my husband demanded that I keep them after seeing them on me). I’m contemplating ordering in more colors. However, I gave them a four because for a cargo pant and at this price point, I thought the fabric should be a little thicker. It’s so thin that there is nothing left to the imagination and no hiding anything, at least in the khaki color that I bought. For fit, they are a little on the smaller side. I am 5’7”, weigh 135 lbs, wear a 4 in pants, and wear a size 25 in jeans. I got a Small in these pants and they *just* fit me. Maybe they’ll loosen a bit with wear but I figured giving my sizing for context might help others pick their size.

These are very tricky to fit correctly. The fit needs to be snug enough to stay up but if they’re too snug they ride up on the thighs and look messy. The rise is not a mid-rise but actually a low-rise which is completely out of style right now. These pants have been made for years by Anatomie but they haven’t been updated at all to reflect current styles. The fabric is extremely light weight which is great for travel.

These are really cute! I am 5'3.5" at 111 lbs., wear a 25 in jeans, and I purchased both the XS and Small. I am keeping the XS. The Khaki color is a little darker than it looked online but I love it. The pants are thin, so not a winter pant. They are well made but honestly, the price seems so high for what you get. That being said, I'll probably buy another pair! I think the size chart is accurate. I felt the small was too loose and assumed it would just get looser throughout the day. The XS fit well...not too tight, legs are a little loose which is nice. The hit me just at the top of my feet (I have longer legs and shorter body for my height). The rise is perfect on me...midrise. If you have athletic thighs you might not like these. I have skinny legs and thighs so not an issue, but I can see that if my thighs were bigger after sitting the pants might need to be pulled down every time. Once again, I do love these pants but they are thin and it's hard to understand the value for price.

These pants are so flattering!! Definitely fitted to the body. I am typically size M; bought an M and initially thought I might need a large. But after 1 minute I realized they are so comfortable, flattering and don't feel or look tight. I bought for travelling but may wear them every day.

Thanks again Nordstrom for stocking these great pants, I knew the minute I saw them online, they going to be perfect for me and they are, the detail is the best, the fabric nice and thin, super comfortable, and style the cargo is what I want these days, I will be getting a couple more pairs very soon, like right now!
