Timmy Beaded Shoulder Bag

I got SO excited when I saw this bag, and when one came back in stock I had to have it! I have a few bags and dresses from Staud and they’re usually very high quality but unfortunately this bag looked much cheaper in person. The color on a lot of the beads looked like it was wearing off, and the beads were held together by plastic ties that you can really see. It looks great at a distance but not up close. When trying it on I realized it was very difficult to get the magnetic fasteners to close. Even with nothing inside, I had to really force the flap down to get them to snap into place. I also saw a video where someone had the exact same issue of the flap not closing, so it didn’t seem to be just the one I got. For half the price I may have kept it—I can’t deny it’s super cute.

The bag is beautiful. Unfortunately the colors were not as vibrant as pictured (which is odd for this neutral lover to say), but the problem is that even empty, it is too heavy. I will sacrifice for a fashion moment, but this is not impactful and fun enough for the sacrifice

I found that the magnetic button that holds the purse flap closed was completely coming undone. I have to return it. The purse is heavy but a nice size and stylish and fits my wardrobe and needs.

I love it. It’s a summer statement bag. Yes it’s occasionally a little tricky to close but it is so fun and versatile. Not roomy inside but plenty large enough for all the necessities. Every time I carry it numerous people comment that it’s adorable. I am so pleased with this purchase.

I don’t find this too heavy at all. I mean, I’m only putting my wallet, phone lipstick and glasses in it. I wish it closed a little easier, sometimes I have to hunt for the magnets. But this is a fantastic bag, it’s a little funky without being crazy quirky. Really adds a nice touch to any outfit, totally works for casual or dressing up a bit. I like that the strap is removable it can also be a clutch, or find another strap and make it a crossbody. It’s super unique and not very delicate, so I don’t feel like I have to worry when I set it down or put it in the back seat.
