great boot!
This is such a beautiful boot, looks dressy even with the low heel, and the leather is so soft. Unfortunately it was a little tight, I'm normally an 11.5 (in Stuart weitzman) or 12 but this 42 was too snug (pretty consistent with other European 42's on me). very sad to have to return.

perfect for Paris
Wanted some tall flat-ish boots for Paris to wear with tights or leggings. These were great! The 7 was a tad too big for me in the foot but the 6 were a tad too tight for me in the calf. I went with the 7. Beautiful leather! Comfortable for miles of walking.

wonderful, adorable boots but inconceivably narrow
These boots are so great and their style is perfect. But unless you have Extremely narrow feet, you will be uncomfortable in them. Many of the reviews said they run small. I did not find that they ran small as in short in length… if I had bought them in a larger size, it wouldn’t have cured the problem with the narrowness in the ball of the foot… and it would have been simply too long in the length of the footbed… you might be able to break them in in time, if you’re willing to go through that pain. Even though the leather is soft, so it’s very possible that they could be broken in if you’ve got feet that can put up with such a thing! I don’t… And I wasn’t willing to take that chance. MANY reviews all over the Internet, say that they’re narrow so I wish Staud would listen and change the boot because it’s so great but can’t be comfortably worn.

love the look, but too narrow
I have other Staud boots and had high hopes for these. But, they run very narrow in the toe area so I feel like these would be incredibly impractical if you have to walk much.

Beautiful boot but fit was off.
Bought these in a 39.5; I normally wear a 9 and the right boot fit ok but the left boot was tight in the toe area. Narrower calf but fit my legs perfectly. Wished they fit better and were a wee bit more comfortable. The boot also has a slouchy element to it, so over time could see them being a little baggy around the ankle which also wasn't the look I was going for.
