Timmy Beaded Shoulder Bag

I got SO excited when I saw this bag, and when one came back in stock I had to have it! I have a few bags and dresses from Staud and they’re usually very high quality but unfortunately this bag looked much cheaper in person. The color on a lot of the beads looked like it was wearing off, and the beads were held together by plastic ties that you can really see. It looks great at a distance but not up close. When trying it on I realized it was very difficult to get the magnetic fasteners to close. Even with nothing inside, I had to really force the flap down to get them to snap into place. I also saw a video where someone had the exact same issue of the flap not closing, so it didn’t seem to be just the one I got. For half the price I may have kept it—I can’t deny it’s super cute.

I don’t find this too heavy at all. I mean, I’m only putting my wallet, phone lipstick and glasses in it. I wish it closed a little easier, sometimes I have to hunt for the magnets. But this is a fantastic bag, it’s a little funky without being crazy quirky. Really adds a nice touch to any outfit, totally works for casual or dressing up a bit. I like that the strap is removable it can also be a clutch, or find another strap and make it a crossbody. It’s super unique and not very delicate, so I don’t feel like I have to worry when I set it down or put it in the back seat.
