Light Weight Long Distance Trail Running Versatility
I bought this to help get through the early fall rainy season here in Fairbanks as a long distance trail runner, and it worked better than expected, not only keeping me warm when it was damp, but I was able to keep it on without over heating on long runs when the weather shifted and warmed into the upper 50’s. That surprised and delighted me. In Talkeetna, a damper climate, the race started at 49 degrees, drizzling fog, and ended at 60 degrees. This little merino was a fabulous comfort. I am a 64 year old runner, and am out longer than than young athletes. I need your good gear because I am out longer. I may have photos of me wearing this shirt, and anticipate wearing it again tomorrow, if you’d like a photo.
