Pretty base layer
Works well with cardigans and jackets. Long sleeves and high neck add to warmth but the fabric is t-shirt thickness so it's not too hot under a sweater. Ruffles make it cuter than a basic t-shirt.

Cotton knit made this too casual
This style would have worked better in a woven cotton than cotton knit. It made it look less feminine and dressy than I was looking for.
