Unparallel quality

I'm a nail polish connoisseur ; from OPI, Dior, butter, Chanel to Nars I've used the whole spectrum of nail polishes. NARS is the best -- unlikely candidate but my Nars polish bought two years ago are still nice and fluid! Great application and quick drying but most of all they last and don't get all tacky like most of their peers ( yes even dior, YSL and Chanel dry out over time )

Disappointing

The color shown through the bottle is very different from the actual polish. The polish is VERY sheer and near colorless. By far such a disappointment.

color not as pictured; chips easily

I got Arabesque, which looked amazing in the photo, pinkish-red based and complex aand sparkly. It was sparkly, but the color was closer to a light brown/orange than the color depicted. Disappointed, I still went ahead and had my manicurist apply it. For those of you interested in the line more than the particular color I just discussed, you should know that the formula in general is a letdown. I am not hard on my manicures, and this chipped within two days on my dominant hand, and appeared to rub off on two fingers of my non-dominant hand. Not a 99cent nail polish, but then again, not what you would expect at $20 a pop. Too bad about the color. I just love the way it looked online.

Polish

The colors are nice but I prefer a different brand instead. This chipped after a few days. I had a base coat, two coats of color and a top coat. With the other brand I had no chips at all. The brand I'm referring to can be found at Nordstrom Rack. If I wanted a specific color that is only available through NARS, I would still buy it knowing the "chip" factor.

My go-to for nail polish

I have a growing collection of Nars nail polishes. My latest purchase is Amarapura, a sleek silver color. The flat brush makes it easy to apply and they have great staying power.

Pretty

This was my 1st Nars nail polish and I purchased Pastorale. It is a rose gold/copper tone nail polish. I can't wait to wear it. It has a nice thick consistency. Worth the $20. I wear different nail polishes and some high end, and this is at the top of my list. I am going to purchase more colors.

Manosque is great

I ordered Manosque and I love it. Although I think it's slightly darker in real life than it appears online. It's like a dark lavender color. I use it with a base and top coat and it lasted about 10 days. 10 days is pretty good for me because I use my hands a lot at work and am pretty rough during my gym workouts.
