What it is: A lightweight eye primer that helps create a seamless canvas to keep cream and powder color looking fresh and just-applied all day long.
What it does: It extends the wear of your eyeshadow, eyeliner and eyebrow pencil without smudging, creasing or caking. A polymer and mineral powder blend establishes a firm grip on color, ensuring hours of gorgeous wear. Fortified with special deep-sea extract and an antioxidant rice extract, it dries on contact and keeps the delicate eyelid smooth and prepared for color application.
How to use: Gently sweep a thin layer onto your eyelids. Blend in with your fingertips from your lashes to your brows.

More than an eyeshadow base
Hey guys, I’ve been using this product for years. I actually use it as a brow base as well. I have to color in my eyebrows and this keeps them in place all day. The tube last about 3 months when used 5 days a week.

Not for mature eyes
Fist, this is a quality product, but not for mature skin. I am 69, and am fortunate to have good skin around my eyes. A primer is good to smooth small lines and help eye makeup stay put. It went on well, but when I applied my shadow the skin on my lids and inner and outer corners , were super crinkled and dry looking. (That is with good eye cream too!)There were lines and crinkles I had never even seen before! That is definatley unacceptable!! I now use Guerllain eye primer. Soooo much better. This product is much too drying for mature eyes.

I bought this the day before LA's hottest recorded daytime temp hahaha! this product really TRULY does its job. After 113-degree heat every stitch of makeup melted away....EXCEPT my shadow & liner. So awesome! i'm really a fan

Really like this
I have always used Trish McEvoy eyeshadow base up to now but after reading about the Nars I decided to give it a try. So glad I did ~ love that it doesn't have any color to it. It goes on easily and my shadows last every bit as long as with the Trish McEvoy. I also tried the Chanel shadow base but after using both decided I preferred Nars.

packaging needs change
This base works really well. I love the applicator and how easy it is apply to the lower lid to keep your liner from running down your face. However, you cannot tell how much product you have left. Wish they updated so you can order before you run out.

clear, lasting, holds color, keeps true color
Bought this product hoping my eyeshadow when applied would go on and the true color would show, It does It also holds shadow without creasing from morning to night. Nars is the first primer I've used which is clear and lets the true, actual color of eye shadow show. Other primers I've used have a creamy cuality and a tint which changes the color of your eye shadow. On my bare eye color seems to disappear.The packaging is an issue. I'd like to see how close to emply the tube is. There are wands available on other website that get down to the bottom of this type of tube.
