'Helm' Bootie (Women)

The leather-suede combo is beautiful and the blue color is exactly what I'd hoped for. The dark wooden sole is also gorgeous. I wore them for two days and didn't have the same issue with discomfort others reported, but I did return these because the regular/normal width was too wide for my feet. There was too great a gap at the ankle and the high tongue/vamp buckled too much. In short, it wasn't fitted enough to my taste.

This brand was recommended by my podiatrist for support and comfort. The support is moderate. It’s very narrow and my big toe nails hit inside the shoe. This is the kind of shoe that will give you bunions and ingrown toenails. I had my feet measured at Nordstrom a week ago, I’m an 8 somewhere between a narrow and medium, I ordered 8 medium and they’re way too narrow. The leather is soft and the double zipper makes it easy to get into but they’re not as great looking in person.
