Essential Leather Ankle Boots

I wear a size 8/38 n purchased a size 7 from reading the size chart. 7 Fits me perfectly. The boots do have a side zipper in which it is not shown in the photos outright. An indication that there is a zipper, I know see, in photos of boots side by side. I missed “zipper opening” in the description. As well for I was for I was too focused on the photos. The zipper kills it. I wish the manufacturer put a panel over the zipper to match the other side of the boot. This would have been perfect! There is a Rubber sole which I wish was leather, for a $300 boot. The suede looked similar to nu-buck in the photos, but it is a heavier suede. Overall, pretty color n super comfy. Not sure yet I am keeping. I wanted to wear with boot with shorts for the summer. The suede is too heavy looking, I feel. The rubber sole makes the boot look somewhat cheap, I feel. I’m still thinking about it. I keep trying it on with all different outfits. I just don’t love them. It is the zipper and the sole that kills it.
