My entire closet is silk, and this does not align with what’s in my closet at all. It has a synthetic smell. You might argue that it’s because it’s machine washable and has been treated; however, 50% of my closet is machine-washable silk, and the vibe is completely different from this. It also lacks the elegant, reflective quality of pure silk. Even ChatGPT agrees...when I compare this piece to items from my closet made of machine-washable silk, it concludes that this fabric is either synthetic (which I can believe) or heavily treated washable silk that behaves like synthetic material. And if that’s the case, what’s the point? My control sample is sound. Nordstrom needs to implement better quality control. This is a disappointment of unparalleled proportions.
