The Mini Leather Compact Wallet

I rated the product with five stars due to its exceptional quality as a wallet. However, I found that it lacked the desired three card slots on both sides. Consequently, I returned it and opted for the larger MJ wallet, priced at $150.00, featuring a gold hardware emblem on the front and a snap closure. This particular model is characterized by superior craftsmanship.

I'm not sure what I didn't like, but it felt like a cheap wallet. Something about it just felt more "discount store" than I'd like. When I received it it had loose change in the zippered area and I didn't take that into account with this review. But I felt pretty bummed receiving something someone obviously used and returned. It's an honest mistake, but it made me wonder if it was a genuine wallet. Maybe it felt like cheap leather because it was a knockoff, or maybe the leather is just lower quality than the matching tote bag I bought a few years ago.

Sooo, I bought this as a gift for wife as she has got a new purse which was a brown/mahogany color and the wallet she had was red (a Coach wallet she's had for 5 or 6 years) and I thought her wallet should match her purse. She liked the "the Wallet" with one exception, not enough card slots and just a bit smaller than the Coach. As she was putting items from the Coach into the Mark Jacobs we also noticed that the Coach, even as old as it was , was still in perfect condition, as if it were new. I don't remember what I paid for the coach, but in the end she decided to keep using the Coach and gifted the Mark Jacobs wallet to her daughter who fell in love with it when she saw it. Funny how things work out.
