Another major winner from Chanel for holiday. This Or Beige color makes the everyday special - great texture and wear time for a creamy formulation, with just a hint of gold sheen. Sophisticated and utterly lovely. Nude lovers should snap it up while you can.

holiday color
Rouge D'or is a beautiful red color that does not pull orange or pink on me. Maybe it's a true red with a hint of coral. There is also a slight shimmer of sparkle which is fun. This color is a limited holiday edition yet would wear this color year round. The formula has good longevity even under a mask. Not drying. Lipstick colors are hard for me to find that go with my Chanel NC20, light skin with warm yellow undertones. My blush is Chanel rose petal.

127 Rouge Dòr is a stunning red lipstick
This is an absolute must for any red lipstick lover or if you are looking for a special occasion red lipstick this is the one. It is a beautiful red lipstick with some subtle gold sprinkled in to give it depth & shine. It’s more of a grown up gold sprinkled in if you will. I love it for when I want that extra oomph. Also, it’s a Chanel lipstick & you cannot go wrong.

137 Pourpre D or
2019 was the first time I purchased these new formula holiday lipsticks. The formula is high quality.
137 pourpré D’or is a deeper color of the four. Imho - it looks in the family of cassis or black current in lip crayon, and sweet berry shade in the liquid formula.
Does $45 justify this lipstick? I bought this lipstick for its formula and the shimmer described by YouTubers and Chanel campaign picture. It is moisturizing, quality lipstick but it doesn’t apply evenly. There is no shimmer. Other Chanel lipsticks are $38.
This lipstick doesn’t stand out for its price.
