Details & care

What it is: A long-lasting eyeshadow that can be worn three ways for a multitude of looks.

What it does: The formula glides on in a single swipe and blends in seamlessly with a second-skin feel. A range of 14 modern shades combines some of the House's most iconic hues, reimagined by COMETES COLLECTIVE member Cécile Paravina, with bold new tones. The signature case, elegantly adorned with a double C monogram, opens to reveal a wide mirror and three versatile tools: a foam applicator as well as a dual-ended brush with a tapered side for eyeliner and a fluffier one for diffusing color.

How to use: Use the eyeshadow alone or layer with other makeup. Apply as an eyeshadow over the entire lid, draw a graphic line to define the gaze or intensify brows with a touch of color. Lightly wet the tapered brush to achieve a precise result.

This color is AMAZING!!!

Chanel’s new eyeshadow collection is truly wonderful. I purchased Lilas, Jade, White which is really Pearl Opalescence, and Sable. I noticed that the White one says top coat on the outside of the box. So, now I’m putting this on top of the Lilas for a little sparky add-on, the sable as a base and the the Jade in the middle just above the Lilas in the crease for an added effect. I’m older so crease lines are a problem but have not found this to be a problem at all with these shadows…no caking, either. I use Trish’s base on my eyelids first always.

Ombre Essentiaelle White is not White!!

I love Chanel makeup but I won't buy Chanel eyeshadow onlline anymore unless it's one I've already used and like. wWthout trying it at the counter in-person I keep finding that the digital photos are way off and the names are misleading. This "White" for example is not white. It's a warm-hued skin tone. Didn't lighten or flatter my lid at all. I knew as soon as I opened it it was a mistake, but I had already discarded the box.

looks nothing like the picture.

It is pretty. But it is extremely sheer. No matter how much you pack it on. The photos online are extremely misleading.

Wonderful shadows.

I purchased 4 colors overall and love each one, especially one called white which has pink metallic bits. A surprise. With some of the new eyeliners, it’s been a great new look.
