Hooded Puffer Jacket with Bib

The color on this coat is beautiful — the plum/taupe mix is so unique. The fabric is incredibly soft and the stitching design is also beautiful. My biggest gripe with this coat are the side panels, which are a stretchy material instead of the same as the rest of the coat. We have decently cold winters (anywhere between 0 to-39 degrees during the winter months), and I feel like this coat would not keep me warm on the sides because of those dumb panels. Moreover, any bulky layers you have underneath will look unflattering (think sweater under a scuba/spanx mix material). It also feels really fragile because of the extremely soft material. I want to keep it but the practical side of me says no.

This travels so well. You can wear it as a backpack if you’re hot. It folds into a small square into a bag that’s built into it. Perfect for stowing on a train or plane when traveling internationally. The hood is detachable. There are two layers of zippers. Very flattering - cinches at waist. This is an excellent value for the money!

This jacket fits true to size (TTS), and I appreciated the option of the removable bib. However, it has stretch panels under the arms and sides that are not visible in the pictures. The stretch material is so thin you can see your fingers through it. This thin material would allow wind to pass through and body heat to escape, which isn't helpful for a cold weather coat.

I like the look and it’s very nice fitting, unfortunately for design purposes they made mesh panels on the sides. The first cold breeze that went by m, I felt cold but didn’t know why. I looked and saw the side panels are decorative and not insulated. Makes no sense considering it’s a jacket. Going to return.
