It's beautiful, but just doesn't work for me. It technically fit well, according to size, but is just a bit too much dress/fabric for the way I'm built. I wish I were taller, but as it is, it made me look short and wide. I'm 5'3" and size 6. Five stars because it's great dress - for someone else.

Beautiful dress, but the zipper is awful!
This is a beautiful and flattering dress. I tried it on at Nordstrom and the sales person helped me zip it. It fit great. Unfortunately, she couldn’t get it unzipped. Another shopper, who was walking by the dressing room, ended up helping the sales person basically tear the zipper apart so I could get out of the dress. Assuming that was a fluke, and still thinking the dress was pretty, I ordered it online and had it shipped to my house. My husband had so much trouble with the zipper. It ended up being zipped at the top but not the bottom (somehow) and then it took forever to get the zipper apart. No way can I wear this dress to a wedding. Too much of a risk. It’s a shame because I like it. I will be returning this dress.

It looks so pretty in the picture. Doesn't look so nice on me. I purchased it online in 3 colors in assorted sizes. I have lost a lot of weight so I'm unsure of my size. Every single dress had zipper issues. Specifically where the fabrics change from the bottom to the top. Also, the bow does not come tied. You tie it yourself in the front and I'm not good at that. The taffeta on the bottom just doesn't fall right.

The top of the dress is a bit heavy due to all the detail. The bottom feels more like satin instead of taffeta. Made for tall women. It swallowed me up at 5’2”.

This dress should work well
I'm happy with the purchase. I plan to wear this dress in late September to a formal wedding. I was surprised to see a few sequins come off when I tried it on. I hope that this won't be a big problem!!
