It's not you; it's me.

It's beautiful, but just doesn't work for me. It technically fit well, according to size, but is just a bit too much dress/fabric for the way I'm built. I wish I were taller, but as it is, it made me look short and wide. I'm 5'3" and size 6. Five stars because it's great dress - for someone else.

Really, really stinks- REALLY

I bought this dress online from Nordstrom for my mother in law to wear to a wedding. It’s absolutely beautiful and I wish my mother-in-law could’ve tried it on. But it stinks like it lived in a sewer before it got shipped. The box stinks. The packaging stinks. The dress is foul smelling. There is no way to try it on without having it cleaned. Other dresses from this same designer were physically at Nordstrom. They also smelled badly (no as badly) and is why my mother in law couldn’t try those on either. What ever is happening in NJ where the dress was tagged with a Nordstom tagged and shipped cannot be good. Gross. I will put the box in a garbage bag before putting it in my car to return to Nordstom. Note to Nordys - quality control please.

It looks so pretty in the picture. Doesn't look so nice on me. I purchased it online in 3 colors in assorted sizes. I have lost a lot of weight so I'm unsure of my size. Every single dress had zipper issues. Specifically where the fabrics change from the bottom to the top. Also, the bow does not come tied. You tie it yourself in the front and I'm not good at that. The taffeta on the bottom just doesn't fall right.

Fit and material not for me.

The top of the dress is a bit heavy due to all the detail. The bottom feels more like satin instead of taffeta. Made for tall women. It swallowed me up at 5’2”.

Beautiful dress, but the zipper is awful!

This is a beautiful and flattering dress. I tried it on at Nordstrom and the sales person helped me zip it. It fit great. Unfortunately, she couldn’t get it unzipped. Another shopper, who was walking by the dressing room, ended up helping the sales person basically tear the zipper apart so I could get out of the dress. Assuming that was a fluke, and still thinking the dress was pretty, I ordered it online and had it shipped to my house. My husband had so much trouble with the zipper. It ended up being zipped at the top but not the bottom (somehow) and then it took forever to get the zipper apart. No way can I wear this dress to a wedding. Too much of a risk. It’s a shame because I like it. I will be returning this dress.
