What it is: A no-rinse micellar refresher that instantly cleanses your scalp and refreshes hair and texture and revives second-day styles, too.
Who it's for: Ideal for those with wavy (2C), tight (3A, 3B, 3C) or coily (4A, 4B, 4C) hair.
What it does: It revives with naturally derived styling polymers that help tame frizz for up to 72 hours, even in intense humidity. It provides light, flexible hold to restyle hair without having to redo your hair completely and provides a refreshing, soothing sensation on the scalp. It features the brand's own pure-fume™ aroma, with notes of jasmine, certified organic mandarin, lemon, ylang-ylang and other pure flower and plant essences.
How to use: Shake well. If using on your scalp, part hair and hold the bottle 4–6 inches away. Apply as desired and massage in. To refresh hair, hold the bottle 6–8 inches away and damp hair from roots to ends. Air-dry or heat style as desired.

Flea Spray?
I’ve been using Aveda products for 30 years and this is the first product I didn’t like. I did read all the reviews by prior purchasers of Rinseless Refresh Micellar Hair and Scalp Refresher and decided to buy it anyway. That was a $31.00 mistake!!! It made my hair sticky and it smelled worse than flea spray.
I think Aveda should remove it from it’s product line.

I pretty much like this product!
Well, I received this is as small sample from a Nordstrom purchase recently and decided to try it. I wear ball caps when walking my dog every day and do not need to wash my hair every day since I am 63 and my hair is dry. To refresh my hair I put my head under my deep laundry sink with sprayer and rinse and then restyle and that still takes some time since I have to blow dry and apply a mousse since my hair is fine, and then use my curling iron. First time I tried this product I just sprayed all over my hair and shot my blow dryer a few times til dried and used my curling iron. Came out great and I didn't mind the smell, it goes away. I noticed this product did not make my hot curling iron stick to my hair and it made my hair feel clean. I just used again today and am very pleased with the results. I have tried dry shampoos in the past and to me they are like "yuck". Maybe Aveda is marketing this product incorrectly towards refreshing curly hair which I do not have. I have no color in my hair, I am have been letting my hair go gray now for more than five years.

not the results I expected
Didn't like the smell, which is a personal preference. Was looking for something to use in between hair washings and to find something better than dry shampoo. The nozzle handle is awkward to use. Didn't like how this made my hair look greasy. Save your $$$ and stick with dry shampoo (powder or in the can variety). Disappointed with the results and the product.

Very disappointed!
I did not like this product at all. It had a nice scent but when I sprayed it on my short hair to “refresh and restyle” it left it dull and gummy. I will continue to use regular water in a spray bottle! Very disappointed needless to say.

Better than water, added control and shine but does not weigh down curly hair with too much product. It’s a little steep but worth it if you have soft curls that you typically allow to air dry.
