I purchased a Venice link necklace a few years ago. Recently my neck was itching, and I got a rash. Turns out the supposedly “solid gold” necklace I purchased is not solid gold at all. Beware of this false advertising. I have the chain and it’s corroded showing black spots all over. Very disappointed.
