Zara Bootie

Oddly, nobody has yet provided a review of this NAS item, so I thought I would. I have other Frankie4 booties and took the same size in this style. They come with the Sole Saver Pack that helps the boot fit a slightly wider or slightly narrower than standard foot. You can substite a half insole for the full length one to accommodate a wider or higher volume forefoot or add a thin forefoot cushion under the full insoleto take up some volume to fit a narrower foot. Arch support is good and the insoles are quite cushiony. The leather is smooth and of good quality. The portion aroud the ankle is very soft and a bit stretchy so the top doesn't dig in when walking. The style is quite streamlined with the angular, slanted shape of the low heel and a reasonably trim silhouette. They have a vaguely western vibe. A pointed toe would look better but the squared shape isn't too blocky. Overall, this is a good bootie for a resonable price and I kept them because they fit.

I am very tall and I have feet in proportion to my body. I commend the company for making larger women's sizes and providing such a nice welcoming bag of adjustment pieces with the shoes in order to accommodate the shoe to the foot. Bravo! Who else does this?! Regretfully, I had to return them because the soles were just too stiff for me. I would try a different pair from this company in the future and I hope they continue to make shoes for longer feet (not big!).

I have purchased this brand last year and returned them. I was looking for a shoe with an arch support. Wasn’t completely sold on them because of the sole. I like a shoe with a nice cushy rubber sole. It provides traction with each step. Aquatalia brand is a good example, but it doesn’t provide arch support or is orthotic friendly. So I gave them another chance this year. Same issue. While the style was great, looked good, nice leather and comfortable interior lining, it lacked a good sole, especially for a boot on rainy days. Sadly returning again.

The fit of this boot is weird. The shape is such that it is long and narrow. There was at least an additional inch above my toe, but this was just extra space because of the narrow shape of the boot. Will be returning these.

Sleek design, extremely comfortable. Wore first time with thin socks and half arch supports. A bit tight at top of foot with highest arch, but gives with wear and time. Comfortable first wear with 5k steps. A bit slick under ball of foot on steep surfaces.
