Almost maxi with a flare for 5ft 3” petite

Petite hourglass frame but carry a baby pooch, 5’3”, 28” waist, 32” around baby pooch area, 37” hips, 116 lbs. Tried on the 28 and 27 and both were swimming on me. Finally decided to give the 25 a try and it fit perfectly. Not too tight, not to lose. I don’t like tight clothing. As others have mentioned, fabric has lots of stretch which is good and bad. The good is comfort and ease of movement, the bad is my tummy isn’t held in at all. Laying flat, the waist on the 25 measures about 13.25 and hips 18.5 (see pics). Fabric is on the thinner side of medium weight but the fabric is well suited to the style and drapes beautifully. I typically like more substantial, thicker cotton denim because it holds my tummy in better so will need shape wear for this skirt. So yes, would recommend, the style is unique and the drape is spot on.

Smelly dye

The skirt is beautiful and fits TTS. I would have kept it if not for the very heavy toxic smell from the dye. I will keep the navy one instead.

Adorable Retro Look

I got one in each color. Versatile skirt--can be worn now with sweater and boots and later with shirt/tee and sandals. It is soft denim with stretch to it. Sometimes I wear a 10, sometimes a 12--the 10 (30) fit very well with plenty of room.

Not flattering

The skirt is true to size. However, instead of concealing the belly it exposes it. I’m 5’7”, 150lbs and looked 4month pregnant in it. Had to return.

Gorgeous

This skirt is cut generously. I ordered size 31 which is a 12 and there is stretch but not so much as to look sloppy. The length is perfect for me at 5'1. Not too long but definitely a maxi. I love it!!!

Didn’t fit.

Okay, i am 77 and I guess I was trying to be in my 20s again. That’s the last time I had a denim skirt. This would be cute on someone young. I tried size 31 first - way too big, then I ordered a 30 - way to big, then I ordered a 29 and the waist was too tight. It made me look sloppy. So now I am taking them all back.

The Skirt I've Been Looking For Since FOREVER!
