Villa Shorts

I am a vuori shorts enthusiast and was excited to try the new villa collection but these are not it. The Mallorca color bordered on sheer and somehow managed to be baggy and unflattering yet also clingy and revealing. They were also too long for me at 5’2. The dash shorts are much more flattering.

Highly recommend! Don’t hesitate. Can be used as athleisure or used with sandals and a cute top. I have a hard time with shorts because I have hips but a small waist, these are loose in all the right places and very flattering. But most impressive they are super comfortable. The combination of the super light weight material and the looser fit makes them the ideal shorts.

I anticipated these would be somewhat loose to get the flowy effect, but they’re quite a bit larger than I expected. It makes them very comfy, but I could have sized down to a small and I am consistently a medium in Vuori (and pear shaped). The more concerning aspect of the fit was the length. It says the inseam is 3.5” but it felt more like 5”. I had these pulled all the way up my waist, almost to right under my ribcage, and they still looked long. I am 5’5” with a slightly long torso. I will keep these shorts because of the comfort and I love the cardamom color, but these aren’t the flattering travel shorts of my dreams. For my body type, these are more appropriate for weekend lounging than to make a cute outfit to wear out and about.
