Voyageur Q Tote

Wanted to love it. This bag has so much going for it- great fabric, perfect length of leather straps, pocket placement is great inside and out, love the lighter color lining so you can actually see items inside, and I love the trolley sleeve- it is a must have for travel. The two way zipper is a great concept, but the zipper is 99% unusable. It is a serious dealbreaker and I cannot recommend this bag for that reason. The only way that I could use the bag is to keep it unzipped, and that is hardly an option. If you unzip the bag only within 2 inches or so of its farthest point, then you can get it zipped back up, but if you unzip it all the way (which you need to do- of course- to access the inside), then zippers catch and get stuck & then you have to stop, set it down, and put your hand inside and pull the zipper closed from underneath, and sometimes it works, but more often than not, it is just a terrible mess to even get it zipped back up. What a serious quality flaw this feature is! Wow, do better for a bag in this price range!

Love this tote! It has a sleeve to fit on the telescoping handle of my Tumi luggage which makes it so much easier navigating airports. It has nice pockets to keep everything organized and is very elegant. I received many compliments on it during my trip to the UK and Northern Europe. It is so roomy that I can fit my travel purse in it when carry ons are strictly limited to 2 items. I’m so glad I purchased this tote! Beautiful to look at and very functional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tumi Q Tote is the perfect addition to anyone’s bag stash. It’s so versatile and has quickly become my everyday bag. The size is perfect if you have a laptop plus other things to carry around regularly. There is a little pocket in the front and a pocket on the inside but otherwise it is an open bag. It easily fits my laptop, travel monitor, planner, cords and water bottle. It’s not stuffed and it’s not too bulky. The luggage strap is my favorite part, even if you travel a little you know how handy it is to slide that onto your suitcase handle. The shoulder straps are thinner and can start to dig if you’re carrying the bag around full, for a while. Another reason the luggage strap is so clutch! Otherwise they are perfectly comfortable for the walk from a parking garage to the office. The zip closures and gold accents are a beautiful touch on an already sleek looking bag. This is a really well designed, functional tote that I know will last a long time without getting run down or out of style!

The style is exactly what I was looking for, and the pocket layout is genuinely useful, the front pocket for things I need to grab quickly, plus a zippered main compartment that keeps everything secure. There are internal pockets, though when I'm carrying my laptop I need to use a separate sleeve. The back strap that slides over a suitcase handle is one of my favorite features. Being able to stack the bag on my roller bag instead of carrying it on my shoulder makes a huge difference for me in airports, I'm less tired when I don't have to carry my bag. The black, stain-resistant material is durable and great looking. I like my bags to look nice, and this one wipes clean easily after a trip. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tote surprisingly has become the bag. I didn’t know I absolutely needed. I work from home but drive a lot for work and my kids and need to put my laptop as well as folders and scheduler in a bag. In the past, I’ve used something that feels absolutely way too big, or something that is not big enough to fit everything and doesn’t seem to support the weight of all of my work needs. The Q tote is the perfect in between bag size where it’s big enough to carry everything I need while not so big that I feel overwhelming when I’m walking around. Extremely sturdy and can carry the weight, and again not so big that everything gets lost in it. I now keep all the work items in here when I need to be going from meeting to meeting. It’s extremely well-made and very sturdy and goes with every type of outfit, where t dress down or dressed up. Highly recommend this for anyone that needs a versatile bag that can be used for any occasion that’s strong enough to hold what you need for work but not so big that you feel like you’re going on a trip.
