Bella II Flip Flop (Women)

I needed a "go to" white summer sandal, something I could wear with pants, shirts or dresses. I have another pail of Vionic sandals, a tall wedge, so I had some familiarity with the brand and how it works (it holds your foot in alignment when you stand or walk, which can take some getting used to) but these sandals are such a treat! They went right out of the box to a full day walking adventure, and two days later helped me through a grueling day when a five hour day of airport travel stretched into 16 hours. These shoes had a trial by fire and are the most comfortable pair I've ever known. They ran true to size, the leather "thong" part almost seemed loose to me, but that's what comfort feels like when you don't have to break them in... And after weeks of wearing they haven't stretched yet! They are easy to walk in and you will be conscious of how these flat sandals correct and position your feet. The cute little bow detail is what makes it work with dresses and nicer casual outfits. Excellent purchase. Be aware that until you are used to the sculptural supportive structure of these Vionics you should plan to wear them for short periods of time, building up your comfort level and increasing the wear time as you get used to them. Remember for me, this was my second pair. Having said that, on my marathon airport day running to different terminals and and standing in lines, the next day I felt my leg muscles!
