Vari Mary Jane Platform Wedge Pump (Women)

I have always had a hard time buying edgy shoes. For example, I am a massive fan of Camper, but their shoes HURT MY FEET SO BADLY I finally gave up trying them on. On a whim, I tried Fly London. I never heard of them before. This is my second pair, and they are super comfortable right out of the box and have the trendy look I crave. I am a huge fan now!

The pros: Very well made. Length was good and I loved the fun color with a little bit of a reddish “burn” on the toe area. The cons: too wide and gappy in the toe area (I normally wear an 8M but tend toward a narrower shoe), and I didn’t like the way the toe box kind of ballooned out like a more fashionable Minnie Mouse shoe. Even with an orthotic in, which helped, it still felt too roomy. And as another reviewer posted, the collar is high and rubbed against my ankle bone which would surely lead to a blister or cut. Wanted to love them, but sadly, I will be returning.
