Details & care
The Tuareg are nomadic people who maintain their Berber ways, most of whom live in the Sahara. Tuareg smiths or makers of weapons and jewellery, are known to produce bold pieces of body adornments using geometric patterns and motifs to symbolise meaning in their culture in silver, white metal and copper.
- These earrings are symbolic of Tuareg culture and metal work, using the lost-wax-method to form the metal components in brass, combined with hand carved Kyanite gemstone ethically sourced from a small-scale miner in Kenya. Kyanite is a natural mineral grown in nature in the form of a long-bladed crystal. It varies in colour and opacity and is often associated with the throat chakra, to enhance clear communication. Sourced ethically from a small-scale miner on the outskirts of Nairobi Kenya.
