Tiered Flare Jersey Skirt

I love Akris Punto. Gorgeous, well made, a little unusual clothes, but still great for business. I saw this on sale, had to have. This is a basic skirt I can wear forever. Trim over the hips, flares at the bottom. Fully lined, zipper close with hidden eye. Heavy Jersey weight so will travel well. This brand usually runs a little small so I ordered a size up. It’s a little big and they didn’t have my usual size. But I’m keeping it anyway. Now just need somewhere to go!

I’m not usually one for hyperbole… But I love, love, LOVE this skirt. I’m a bit of an apple shape. So, finding things that fit me well is typically impossible. This skirt fits perfectly, besides being a little too large on me. They were out of the next size down but I’m assuming I can get it tailored (argh, if only I were an inch taller!). It’s beautifully made, with a really soft lining. I can’t wait to wear it.
