Tie Neck Long Sleeve Dress

I was shopping for someone else and was trying to stick with a budget. I found this dress which looked nice online but when it arrived I was horrified at the quality. The fabric looks and feels cheap, the sizing is off and I had 2 extremely large black stains on the fabric. They were as if something was wrong with the fabric dye - they were not stains. The dress also came extremely wrinkled. This is a lower price point for me but if this is what you expect from Nordstrom for $100, than that is a true shame. I know mailing clothing items makes it difficult for the clothing to arrive at its beat but this was terrible. The presentation (unboxing) once arrived should be an embarrassment.

This has to be one of the most disappointing online purchases I’ve ever made. The dress is made of the CHEAPEST fabric possible. I thought at first it might be a SHEIN dress re sold by Nordstrom but honesty SHEIN probably has better quality than this. At first I thought this wasn’t even lined, turns out it does have a paper thing lining so the dress, despite being lined and navy, is still see-through. Material feels sooo cheap and unpleasant to the touch, itch. The dress also has a “peep show” plunge in the breast area which is not pictured nor disclosed in the item details. The tie covers it in the photos. The fit is really odd… fabric has no give and there’s only a small zipper at the side so it was interesting trying to get it on, and then it’s way too loose and long in the sleeves and the way it’s sewn, it doesn’t lay nicely on the torso. And the it’s oddly tight and unflattering around the lower abdomen and hips. Very unflattering fit. This looks like a great dress from the photos, but they are very descriptive — I would never recommend!
