Sleek Flannel High Waist Taper Pants

I love Theory because their quality is top notch. This 100% wool trouser isn’t cheap but the price quality ratio is fair. The dark green is versatile and much more interesting than a black trouser would be. At 5’10” and 160 pounds the 12 fits me perfectly and hits just slightly above the ankle. They are not lined but I can live without that as the wool is not itchy.

I normally LOVE Theory so I was very disappointed by the cut of these pants. I even tried multiple sizes in my best attempt to get them to work. There is an imbalance of where certain parts are tied and loose. For example, even after going a size up from what I normally wear, the thigh area and the waist are very tight and uncomfortable to sit down in whereas all other parts of the pant are baggy. It is a very wonky fit and even the salesperson said people have been struggling with cut of these pants when I was returning them.
