Pretty, but not comfortable or functional

These are very cute, but both uncomfortable and irritating - they are not very foot shaped so they squish your toes and forefeet- and to add insult to injury the laces come untied all the time. Rarely have I been so disappointed in a shoe - I really wanted to like them but wish I had not bought them.

Cute! Hope they last.

Unfortunately, the red interior of these bled during my first few wears, so now I have some newly pink socks. The dye transfer seems to have slowed since then, and luckily it’s been minimal (though non-zero) on the white ribbon laces. Overall, these are really charming! The gold is *very* shiny, just as I had hoped. I will be curious to see how the gold finish holds up over time. This is my first pair of Birdies and I am also curious to see how the cushioning lasts. The shoes are comfortable, but it’s not a super-supportive feeling—more like a tiny air mattress.

Comfortable fit ,love color, I

Comfortable fit ,love color, I didn’t like the Golden shoe strings because they were ribbon and not string so I replaced them with regular shoe straits. Other than that I love the sneakers.
