This is an amazing jacket for kids
I also feel the initial reviews are not very fair. This is a very warm jacket. I also thought it was too thin to be warm when I first got it for my then 2.5 year old but this is the warmest one we use. As a non daycare kid he was outside several hours a day rain or shine everyday and this is the jacket for when it's colder than -15C. Was it this jacket that took us through 3+ hours of sitting waiting for Santa in -20C? Check. Now he's in grade 1 and will wear just a tshirt under this when it's -10C out. The jacket is also very durable. My kid is very rough on his clothes. TNF freedom snowsuit? Put holes in that thing 3 weeks flat and also got it soaked through almost immediately . This jacket has never given us any problems. We've had the 3T (now into its second season with another kid and still looks new) and he's finally outgrowing the 5T, which is why I'm back on here for a bigger size. If North Face stops making this jacket I will be so bummed.

Very thin
Purchased this jacket in November for New York winter , and my daughter in December is complaining it's very cold in this jacket , usually we always purchase winter staff for kids in NF but this time big disappointment. Also the sleeves is not adjustable as last year same model , it's also kinda short ; the waist part is very up . Couldn't return or exchange since 30 days passed . Don't buy this jacket for your child for winter !

Great Purchase
Super cute and lightweight but protective. My toddler stays warm while outdoors playing and has no complications with running and climbing. Also easy to clean and the removable fur was the perfect addition.
