Low quality material
Absolutely terrible material, like a cheap polyester, and low quality. Lands end has gone downhill. This pills in the first few days of wearing from a very calm delicate girl… went and found a better (used) skirt from a different maker that is close enough to pass for the school dress code.

Does not run big-- frustrated
Do not agree with other buyers that these run large. Have bought LE uniforms for my kids for 10 years. The girls are required to wear this skirt. Daughter is a size 10 in pretty much every clothing brand and occasionally still an 8. I bought 3 of these for the upcoming school year in a size 10. They are too small in the waist. You can see from the photo, there is barely a difference between the 8 (bottom) and 10 (top). Annoyed because the 12 is going to be way too long on her and then I will have to have them all hemmed. Please stop adjusting the sizes, LE!

Runs Very Small
These skirts run smaller than Lands End uniforms from prior years. My slightly above average 8yo is in a size 12 to give her room to grow. The size 10 barely fit.
