The Louisa Loafer

These are definitely a high quality shoe worth the the price. The we only thing that had me worried, was if they were real leather or not. They clearly stated that the shoe is handmade in Spain. Which, leads me to believe that these are crafted of the highest quality leather. But, nowhere on the shoe or box does it explicitly state that they are genuine leather. I was a little bit worried for a moment and had to do my own research to find out if they are, indeed genuine leather. Normally, that is a quality characteristic that any product would gladly label either on the bottom or on the inside of the shoe. Or, at least they put the little cowhide logo that lets you know. They definitely look like leather and smell like it, too. But, without it clearly stated, I couldn't be sure. But, sure enough, after some quick research, I found out that they are indeed genuine, quality leather. I was really baffled as to why it wasn't clearly marked as such anywhere on the shoe. I wish the brand would have saved me some anxiety and time and even if they had just pasted that vinyl sticker on the bottom to reassure me that I had absolutely purchased a quality leather item, I would have been at ease much sooner.
