DINOSAUR FACTS: Length:3 m (9.8 ft) juvenile. Weight: 40 kgs (88 lb). Location: ZuniBasin, New Mexico. Time period: 93.5–89.3 million years ago - Middle Cretaceous. Named By: Nesbitt et al., 2019. Notable for its slender skull and feet and relatively small size, Suskityrannus was originally thought to be a dromaeosaur. It also had a large brain for its body size. This species would go on to bridge the evolutionary gap between the early smaller Tyrannosaurs and titans that ruled the late Cretaceous.
