Best trouser buy.
I have been wearing these trousers for years and love the fit and cut. They always retain their colour which is important in a black garment. I know buy them for my grand daughter who wears them for school.

Leg cut is too wide
The description says “straight leg” but the leg is very wide - I would say mire line “boot cut” — I am returning them.

Pros and Cons, But I Buy Them Repeatedly
I buy these regularly for casual wear. The waist is very comfortable and never 'folds over' or slips down. Wash on Cold water, delicates and dry on Low. I'd give it five stars except for one annoying, and predictable, flaw: the black color, which is the only one I order, lightens up and becomes progressively 'whiter' at the every one of the seams, resulting in a 'two tone' look. Also, the black fabric all over, fades to lighter black. They look the best for the first 6 months and I can wear them for nice occasions. After that, with the fading and lighter seams, it's casual wear only. Depends if this bothers you. They ARE very comfortable.

Legs too wide
I loved the color and fabric; but even the smallest size offered was too big in the hips, and it fit like wide leg pants all the way down. I wish they would offer a Starfish straight leg that does not flare. Even the LE slim leg does the same thing....sticks out right at the hips.

petite? not so
In the past, the petite pants were reliably an inseam of approximately 28½ inches, which fit me well. However, my recent purchases appear to be closer to 30 inches, making them unwearable for someone who depends on true petite proportions.

Women's Plus Size Petite Starfish Mid Rise Straigh
I love these pants. They are very comfortable, stylish and you can wear them with formal/elegant tops or wear with tops that dress you down. Either way these slacks are a wise investment. I miss the zippered pocket in these pants done in earlier years.
