Starfish Mid Rise Straight Leg Pants

I have been buying Starfish pants for probably a dozen years. Finally, they offered this pair in off white. Upon arrival, I was dismayed to see that the knit fabric was quite a bit less substantial than all my past pants. So the black printed Lands End inside the pants, just below the rear elastic waistband, was as visible as day. Same with the sewn-in triple layer of fabric contents, etc. So ok, I wear tops out over, which should hide both problems. But after trying them on, I realized that this pair wasn’t even cut as well as former pants. Size Large has fit me great for years, but these fell across my hips and torso in weird horizontal wrinkles. I kept pulling and tugging in various directions, but it was as if the side seams just weren’t sewn or cut properly. So I am sadly returning them.
