Good fit, warmth and decent price
Excellent fit considering the measurements it claimed were going to make me potentially feel like a teenager wearing my dads old jackets.
Good warmth, look forward to testing it on the slopes this season.
Some room left for layering under it, beats HeliTech for quality and fit. I used to wear a lot of them too.

Runs very big
I'm 6'2" 185lbs and I'm swimming in a size L. It comes down to mid thigh. Wildly oversized for a Large.

Seeking the "Warmest" at a Good Value!
I have lived in Chicago 35 years: Dec - Feb very cold! While obtaining a new jacket my focus was "Warmth" first, "Value" second, "Style" third. I have owned many name brand jackets (Columbia- good, Marmot- very good) but have not achieved the level of warmth I crave during those "Polar Vortex" dips into Chicago (last 3 weeks: -15F to 12F degrees without windchill). The Men's "Snowcrew" Jacket is the first I can honestly endorse that keeps you warm and almost completely eliminates wind. I love the insulated pockets for hands and the top zipper pocket for your phone. It is stylish for a "Mid-puffy" jacket, and simply does the job for my #1 priority-- warmth! Well done Outdoor Research!

No insulation behind front zipper
This jacket is close to perfection except for one rather unfortunate short coming: the baffle behind the front zipper is too small and isn’t insulated! This results in cold air going right through the zipper. This isn’t a huge issue with the pit zips, but for the main zipper in front of the jacket it’s an issue. Even on moderately cold days -15C you can feel the cold air come right in. The easy way around this is to wear an insulated vest, which is what I do, but it would be a whole lot better if it had a proper baffle like their Super Alpine Down parka.

The One!
I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find the perfect winter jacket. I went through every single brand (arcteryx, patagonia, peak performance, north face, etc), and finally landed on this. It just arrived and I absolutely love it!
It's incredibly hard to find jackets that are waterproof, down insulated, cover your butt, have enough pockets, have pitt zips for when you get hot, and can also double as a cold resort ski jacket, especially at this price point!
Great attention to detail on the features and craft of this product.
For reference, I'm 5'11, 190 with a bigger butt. This fits me perfect.

Phenomenal Jacket!
It’s not exactly easy to find a waterproof down jacket unless you layer several different jackets. Outdoor research, as usual, came up for a solution to this problem. My only issue with this jacket is that my wife keeps putting it on to go outside around the house. I’m going to have to order her one of her own so she stops using mine

Warm and cozy, and feature-packed! Good for winter outdoor activities, but also great for just staying warm during daily life in the winter.
