Small Leather Zipped Wallet

I got this new in box, however, upon opening, I was hit with the smell of manufacturing chemicals from the leather, typical of "European Leather" products sent to be finished and assembled in Asia. The company does not share where their products are created / assembled except that their leather are from Gold-Rated European tanneries that operate under the Leather Working Group. The DriTan leather felt extremely dry to touch, which I was not a fan of. It does not look like it will age well. Inside, the folds and the card sections felt flimsy, like it will start wearing down after a few uses-- I use my credit card a lot and I'm sure it will wear or rip within a year. The workmanship is good though, zipper is smooth and the stitching is good. The seal on the edges seem very thin, likely would start cracking. I got this on sale, but for the quality I think it's overpriced. Debating if I should return it.

I bought this small, green wallet mostly for size. I use smaller handbags these days and a bulky wallet takes up too much room. I started using it yesterday and I absolutely love it. It’s perfect in every way. It’s beautifully made and the color is lovely. I’ll also say that it’s the 4th wallet I have bought trying to find the right size. The minute I opened the boxes of the three others I knew I had made a mistake. This little beauty was different. I knew right away it was what I wanted. I will probably buy another one in a different color.

I am not a wallet person but I really liked this and had to have it. I may not use it too much but it will be in my bag with the bifold wallet that I got. I love these very much. The colour is amazing. Easy to find in the bag. I wish my mum was here with me as I would have liked to buy her one too.
