Sleeveless V Neck Bow Detail Mermaid Gown

The color was close to the picture, a bright, cheerful, bubble gum(?) pink. I got a lot of compliments on the dress and color. The material was sturdy and held well. My issue was that there was a big jump in sizing from an 8-10. The 8 was too tight, I wanted it skimming not fitted, and the 10 was way too big . I went w the 10 and had it tailored. I have a3 6-38C chest, so I had them cut the train and slide some material on the V neck to cover the cleavage some. It needed a lot of tailoring to size it. Also, the bra pads in the chest area were crinkled and the imprint of the pad circle visible from the side. I had them take them out. The tailoring was done in the Houston Galleria store and I was v disappointed in the quality of the work. It was v expensive, they did do a lot work on it, but the hemline where they cut the train was visibly very uneven. There was at least an inch diff from one side to the next. This wasn’t the dress’s fault, though. I normally wear a size 8-10 depending on brand.

It was a nice dress but didn’t fit correctly. It was too short for me at 5’10” and flats. Alternations would have been required on a size 10. Found another dress that fit perfectly! Not a good dress for longer torso but probs nice for shorter person with shorter torso. I have bought a size 10 from this designer and they fit great!
