Sleeveless High Neck Beaded Midi Sheath Dress

This dress is an easy stunner - but sizing is challenging. I ordered up from my usual size based on a prior dress I tried on. The 14 was way too big. As someone 5’3” the dress is too long as well - I would have to have it altered to hit at the right leg area and with this much beading that would be costly. Ultimately returning, but love the look. Beaded dresses can be heavy, as this one is more sequins based it’s not too bad on weight. Unclear if underarms might get irritated from a night of celebrating from the sequins.

This dress is absolutely stunning. I bought the champagne color. The quality of the construction is excellent, both the quality and construction of the lining is excellent, the finish at the armholes and neckline is lovely, and the beading is very beautiful. The cut and fit are extremely flattering. I returned the dress because of a major flaw in the zipper selection. They put an invisible zipper in this heavily beaded dress. I had an extremely difficult time zipping up the zipper for the try-on. When I took off the dress, I tried numerous times to move the zipper up and down and almost always it could not go beyond the waistband area. While I love this dress, I decided that I could not risk having a dress that I may not be able to zip ... and did not want to break the zipper trying. Sadly, I returned the dress.
